Registration

You may register for the World Conference by clicking here.

If you register for the full conference, you will receive lunch on July 25 – 28 and access to all conference sessions on July 24 – 28, and the welcome reception. The exception is the preconference workshops on July 24, which are an additional $50 each. If you register for a morning and afternoon preconference workshop, lunch will be provided for you. You may also wish to register for the conference dinner on July 27 for $90.

If you register for one day of the conference, lunch will be provided only on the day for which you register.

We accept credit cards (Discover, Visa, and MasterCard) as well as offline payments (check, purchase order, or wire transfer).

When you are registering, you will choose the payment method at the end of the form. If you choose credit card, you will be able to enter and charge your card.

If you choose offline payment, an invoice will be created and emailed to you by Headquarters within three business days. Your registration will be marked as pending until payment has been received. You may still submit your registration even if you do not know your purchase order number.

We are sorry to hear you will not be able to attend the World Conferences. To cancel your registration, please email headquarters@world-gifted.org.

Our refund policy is:

  • $100 USD cancellation fee for refunds requested on or before April 30, 2019
  • 50% refund for refunds requested May 1, 2019 – June 1, 2019, inclusive
  • No refunds will be issued for requests made after June 1, 2019

Proposals, Presentations, and Schedules

If your proposal was submitted before the deadline (December 15, 2018), notifications were sent on February 11. Each person listed on the proposal should have received an email with the review decision.

Proposals submitted late will not be reviewed until the on-time submissions have been reviewed and notified.

The schedule for the World Conference will be available by May 15. We will work to make the information available as soon as possible. For an example schedule, you may review the schedule from the 2017 World Conference to get an idea of structure. Please note the schedule for the 2019 World Conference is subject to differences in structure and times.

We try our best to make sure you have plenty of time between your presentations. If you find that you are scheduled to present in two sessions at the same time, please email us right away so we can work to adjust the schedule.

Each room for parallel sessions and symposia will include a screen, a projector, and a laptop computer running Windows. Wi-fi access will also be available.

If you need sound, please plan to bring portable speakers with you. Speakers will not be available in the presentation rooms. You should also plan to bring your own clicker if you would like to use one for your presentation.

Travel and Accommodations

There is not a conference hotel. We have secured blocks of rooms at several hotels along the perimeter of the conference venue. Click here to see a list of hotel blocks as well as rates and booking links.

The Nashville International Airport (BNA) is approximately eight miles from the conference venue. After you are on site, you can walk, catch a bus, or take a Lyft/Uber or taxi to nearby attractions, restaurants, museums, and live entertainment.
